Miss Crookshanks, C.D. Campbell Wed
The marriage of Miss Eula Delores Crookshanks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Crookshanks, and Claude Douglas Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Campbell of Altamont, took place in a candlelight ceremony at the home of the bride Thursday evening.
Rhododendron, ivy, baskets of white gladioli candelabra were used in decoration.
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Edgar Sigmon of Matokoa, W. Va.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a dress of light blue linen with navy accessories. She carried a Prayer Book topped with a corsage of fleur de mours.
Miss Pansy Rudd, aunt of the bride, was maid of honor and only attendant. She wore a street length dress of navy crepe with white and navy accessories and had a red rosebud corsage.
Charles Campbell served his son as best man.
The bride's mother wore a dress of tan with brown accessories. She had yellow rosebud corsage.
The bridegroom's mother wore a dress of navy with pink and navy accessories. Her corsage was of pink rosebuds.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the dining room of home. Aides at the reception were: Mrs. James Loving and Mrs. Lawrence Young.
The bride is a graduate of Covington High School and is employed by the Chamber of Commerce.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Covington High School. He served two years with the U. S. Army and is now employed by the C&O Railroad.
After a short wedding trip, the couple will reside in Covington.

Obituaries
Claude D. Campbell HAMPTON - Claude Douglas Campbell, 61, died Thursday, Sept. 6, in Richmond Memorial Hospital.
A native of Alleghany County, Mr. Campbell was employed by CSX as a telegraph clerk-dispatcher, Newport News, for 41 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Valerie C. Ancel of Aylett; one son, Steven D. Campbell of Chesterfield; two sisters; one brother; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Loving Funeral Home, Covington, by the Rev. Bill Gilliland. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Hampton Christian Church by the Rev. John Knibb.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
