Sue Cox, 94
PINEVILLE - Sue Cox, 94, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2000 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was born July 12, 1905 in Nicholson, Tenn., a daughter of the late James A., and Mollie (Goins) Collins. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pineville, and had been a homemaker. For over 50 years she had been a member of the Daughters of America at Corbin, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Cox; daughter, Bonnie Lovell; sons, Charles Osborne and Bob Osborne; brother, Russ Collins; and sisters, Bertha Reid and Hattie Mills.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Teresa Cox, Pineville; daughters-in-law, Ethel Osborne, Schaumburg, Ill., and Pearl Osborne, Knoxville, Tenn.; son-in-law and his wife, Floyd and Grace Lovell, Monroe, Mich.; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Nell Wilder, Lexington, Ky.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services were to be at 11 a.m. today at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Albert Liford presiding. Music was to be provided by Thomasa Risner.
Burial was to be in Pineville Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were to be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers were to be her husband, Millard; and her children, Bob, Charles, and Bonnie.
Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was in charge of arrangements.
