Dewey Hill Stickler, Jr., was born May 21, 1974 in Beckley to Dewey and Jean Stickler of Meadow Bridge.
Dewey gained eternal rest on December 13, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kathleen and Grover Jones; paternal grandparents, Martha and Seymore Stickler; a special aunt, Shirley Stickler; a special great aunt, Edna Morris; and nephews Evan Gray Simms and Gregory Matthew Stickler.
Survivors include his parents; wife, Andria Fugate Stickler; brother Greg (Beth) Stickler; sister, Anita Stickler Simms; daughters, Kendra (Will Hinken); Courtney (Barry) Miller; and Kadee (Joshua) Cooper; sons, Dylan (Alexia) Stickler, and Quinton Simms; granddaughters, Addisyn Grace Stickler and Kaitlin Cooper; grandsons, Nolan and Tuck Miller; nieces, Autumn and Amber; nephews, Troy, Cole, Ian, and Ryder; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Dewey pursued his passion of helping others as an LPN in various hospitals and clinics in the Beckley and Hinton areas. His last work was in the medical unit of Anthony Correctional Facility. He also helped on the family farm in Lockbridge. Although a stroke disabled him in 2010, he continued with hobby farming.
Dewey was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Service will be on Friday, December 18th at the Meadow Bridge Holiness Church on Cowtown Road in Meadow Bridge at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Spence officiating. Burial will follow on the Stickler Farm. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Please enter through the Fellowship Hall.
