Born on March 18, 1951, in Nettie, he was the son of the late Kelcie Cecil Strader and Olive Maxine Huffman Strader. Dennis was a member of the Amwell Baptist Church. Dennis "Bulldog" was a wonderful truck driver, husband, father, grandfather "Da Da" and friend. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Pearl Ruth "Nancy" Bryant Strader; daughter, Deanna Strader of Crawley; son, Dennis Cecil Strader of Crawley; 4 sisters, Paulita (Jack) Still of Alderson, Pauline Riffle of Nettie, Patricia (Roger) Sears of Bennett Mountain and Pamela (Ronnie)Mullins of Beckley; 4 brothers, Clayton (Karen) Strader of Nettie, Clifford Strader of North Carolina, Rennis(Patricia) Strader of Beckley and Paul(Kim) Strader of Crawley; 4 grandchildren, Dewayne Warner, Kendall Warner, Octavia Strader and Sage Strader;" brothers", Wayne "Duck" Duckworth and David Carr and several nieces and nephews. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Pastor John Barnhouse officiating. Burial will follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may visit with the family 6-8 on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
