Charles C. Greninger, 71 years young, of Reading, formerly of Cogan Station, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015.
He was born Jan. 13, 1944, to Charles C. and Dorothy E. (Moore) Greninger.
He attended Williamsport High School and received his GED through the U.S. Marine Corps (1961 - 1965) where he later received an honorable discharge.
Charles retired from Local 1269 Painters and Allied Trades in 2009. Throughout his life he enjoyed woodworking and spending time at home on projects with his wife and beloved pets by his side.
He is survived by his wife, Annette R. Greninger; three daughters, Denise M. of Los Angeles, Calif., Vicki L. of Linden and Colleen A. of Turbotville; also two sisters, Suzanne of Williamsport and Becky of Montoursville; three brothers, James, Roger and John, all of Cogan Station; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister Nealy Stahl, of Muncy.
A graveside service will be held at the Montoursville Cemetery, 1401 Broad St., Montoursville, on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at 11 a.m.
