Betty C. Moore, 84, of 2528 Linn St., Williamsport, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006 at her home.
She and her husband Francis W. Moore celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 1.
Born Aug. 5, 1922 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Earl and Sarah Fenstermacher Harmon.
She was a 1940 graduate of Montoursville High School and had worked in sales for the Market House. Betty was a member of East End Baptist Church, the Moose Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary of the DAV, Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, DuBoistown, and the Ramblers Traveling Club in Lewisburg. She enjoyed playing cards and musical theatre.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Robert E. Moore of Williamsport, and two brothers, Jesse Harmon of South Williamsport and James Harmon of Winfield.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Williamsport, with Pastor Larry Freed, of the Christian Church at Cogan Station, officiating. Burial will be held in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Sanders.
