UNEEDA - Julia Alene Shaver Price, 70, of Uneeda passed away Friday, March 7, 2003, after a short illness. She was born April 20, 1932, attended Marshall University and was a retired employee of Boone County Board of Education (secretary at Danville Grade School). She was a member of Uneeda Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late N.E. "Bill" Shaver of Gauley Bridge and the late Myrtle Zelia Dempsey Shaver of Charleston. She is survived by her husband, Delano Price, a son Tim Price of Foster; daughters, Teresa Watts of Sod, Janet Elizabeth Dent and Lisa Walker of Madison; sisters, Wilda Jennings of Fayetteville and Janet Reasner of Turbotsville, Pa. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Megan, Joseph and Sarah Watts, Savannah and Adam Price, Allyson, Hannah and William Dent, Kayla and Haley Miller. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 10, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Roger Dingess officiating. Burial will follow in Gomez Cemetery, Uneeda. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
