Rev. Tulloh Dies; Rites Set Today
SUMMERSVILLE, July 19 (RNS) - Rev. Arnold Edgar Tulloh, 63, pastor of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Grafton, died Monday in Grafton City Hospital after a four-day illness. He formerly lived in Nicholas County when his father was a pastor here. After his father's death his mother married the late Emory O'Dell of Carl. His wife if the former Miss Lelia Trent King of Mount Nebo.
A native of Virginia, he served as pastor of Milton Methodist Church, Keystone Methodist Church, Bethany Methodist Church at Parkersburg, First Methodist Church in Barbousville and Trinity Methodist Church at Point Pleasant.
Rev. Tulloh was a graduate of Morris Harvey College, Emery University at Atlanta, Ga. and and [sic] Vanderbilt University. He was secretary of the Board of Church Extension of the West Virginia Conference. He had been in the ministry since 1916 and had moved to the Grafton church less than a month ago.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, John Calvin at home; a sister, Mrs. K. F. Harmon of Clairton, Pa.
Service was conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bartlett Mortuary at Grafton by Dr. A. A. Angle, superintendent of Fairmont District and Rev. Chester G. Steyer. Additional services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Gilgal Methodist Church at Mt. Nebo by Dr. A. A. Angle and Dr. L. H. Burns, superintendent of the Bluefield District. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
