O'Dell Funeral Services Today

CARL - Funeral services were to be conducted a 2 p.m. today for Emory Cavendish O'Dell, 73, of Carl, who died at his home early Tuesday after suffering a heart attack.
Rites were to be conducted in the Carl Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Orndorff and the Rev. Wallace Dorsey officiating. Burial was to follow in the Carl Cemetery.
BORN OCT. 18, 1877, he was the son of Thomas H. and Hanna Judy O'Dell. His wife, Mrs. Josephine Hayslette O'Dell, preceded him in death about 30 years ago. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Carl Baptist Church.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Fred McCutcheon, Mrs. Richard Brown, and Mrs. Sam Trout all of Carl; Mrs. Randolph Deitz, of Mount Lookout; Mrs. Ross O'Dell, of Leivasy and Mrs. Berlin Orndorff, of Mt. Nebo, and Mrs. Raymond Perkins, of Renick; and one son, Thomas H. O'Dell, of Washington, D.C.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Luther Hughes, of Mt. Nebo; Mrs. John Dorsey, of Fowlers Knob; Mrs. Lemon Amick, of Leivasy, and Mrs. Mary O'Dell of Carl; and two brothers, Elmer O'Dell, of Quinwood, and Edward O'Dell, of Carl, also seventeen grandchildren.
