She was born on September 7, 1954 at Montgomery; she was the daughter of the late Charles Fredrick Dixon and Opal Louella Gray Dixon. Candace was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Herschel E. "Jake" Whisman, Jr. on August 3, 2024; brother, Fredrick Lee Dixon. Those left to cherish her memory are her a daughter, Carrie (Bob) Ralston; son, Jacob (Melissa) Whisman ; 5 grandchildren, Emily Dove, Wyatt Dove, Sean Ralston, James Whisman and Nathan Whisman; brother, Charles E. Dixon; sisters, Carolyn Collins, Kathy Whisman and Gail McClung; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Special thanks to Andrea Martin, Kyle Begley and Eric Stone. Graveside service will be Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville with Mr. Bob Ralston, Jr. officiating.
