SAMUEL H. SYDENSTRICKER, FORMER RESIDENT, DIES
Samuel H. Sydenstricker, a former resident of Lafayette township, near Loxa, died at his home near Centralia, Mo., Thursday. Funeral services will be held in that city Sunday.
Surviving are the wife, who was formerly Miss Maggie Coons of North Okaw township, and a son and daughter. Washington Sydenstricker of this city and Hugh Sydenstricker of near Loxa are brothers, and Miss Lucinda Sydenstricker of near Loxa is a sister.

Samuel Sydenstricker Dead
Samuel Sydenstricker, aged 72, died suddenly of heart disease twelve miles west of Mexico near New Hope Church, on Thursday, May the 4th. Mr. Sydenstricker went into the pasture to look after the cows, and was suddenly stricken, dying a few minutes after the members of his family reached him. Mr. Sydenstricker was subject to fainting spells, but they were not considered serious. The deceased leaves a son, Allen Sydenstricker and a daughter Mrs. Hull Wilson, who have the sincere sympathy of their friends in the loss of their father, who was a substantial highly respected citiien, well beloved by all who knew him.
