A CONTESTED WILL CASE has occupied the attention of the County Court for the past week. Alfred Merrill died, leaving personal property valued at $5,750, and two children, Alfred K. Merrill and Emily J. Myers. He made a will giving the daughter $40, and the son $5,710. The daughter contested on the ground of insanity, and, after fighting the case a week, took $1,000 and called it square. Like sensible people, they concluded to settle the matter themselves rather than waste the entire estate in endless litigation.
