  Beckley Register-Herald, Beckley, WV, Online Edition, 9 Sep 2011 RUPERT — William Gregory Shawver passed away on Sept. 2, 2011. He was born Oct. 25, 1968, and was preceded in death by his father, William Jennings Shawver. He is survived by his two daughters, Nevada Shawver and Cierra Crouch (husband, Stephen), of Rupert; his mother, Judy Rae Maynard of Cleveland, Ohio; step mother, Karen Bragg; sisters, Crystal Wilson of Rupert and Meagan Maynard of Andover, Ohio; brother, Jason Maynard (wife, Shawntea), also of Andover; nieces, Jayden Maynard and Amber Wilson and a nephew Aaron Wilson. He also left a faithful companion, Echo. Greg was a loving and devoted father as well as a former correctional officer. His daughters were his sunshine and shining stars. Services will be 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle, with the Rev. Rodney Nutter officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday before the services at 8 p.m. Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
