LEIVASY, WV - William "Bill" Charles Murphy, 66, of Leivasy, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Summersville Regional Medical Center, following a short illness. Born December 7, 1948, at Richwood, WV, he was the son of the late Oliver Murphy & Josie O'Dell Murphy of Leivasy. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dortha Lee Ruckman and Joanna Francis Murphy,and by two brothers, Willis Dorsey and James Oliver Murphy. Bill was a Walmart Associate and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include, two sisters: Louise Duckworth of Leivasy, Donna Jean Richmond of Point Pleasant; Two brothers: Willard Murphy of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Bob Murphy of Leivasy.
Several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2015, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, with
Pastor David Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery at Carl, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home in Rainelle. Please send online.
