NICKELL, Charlie M. - 72, of Fayetteville, died unexpectedly yesterday evening at his home after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Nickell was a retired merchant. He owned and operated the Nickell General Store in Lookout for 22 years. He was a deputy for two different sheriffs in Fayette County in the 1920s. Mr. Nickell was a member of the Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Surviving are his wife, Ada; one daughter, Mrs. W. B. Sweazy of Harrogate, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. W. L. Beurry of Miami, Fla.; one brother, S. H. Nickell of Huntington. The body is at Dodd and Payne mortuary in Fayetteville.
