  The Charleston Gazette, Charleston, WV, Online Edition, 21 January 2005 Phyllis Ann Ervin Mace, 71, of Clendenin died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at home after a long illness. She was a member of Clendenin Advent Christian Church and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Warren M. and Estelle E. Crowley Ervin. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jean Trimble; brother, Warren Ervin Jr.; and grandson, Daniel Paul Bird. She is survived by: husband, John Mace of Clendenin; daughters, Cindy Bird of Clendenin and Shea Cantabery of Easton, Pa.; grandchildren, Emily Mullins, Molley Bird and John and Abby Cantabery; and great-grandchildren, Hunter and Harley Mullins. Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Nahum Balser officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1143 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar, WV 25064.
