FORMER ATHLETE DIES IN WRECK
RICHWOOD, April 8. - (AP) - L. H. "Hank" Juergens, 35-yearold former high school athlete, was killed tonight in an auto
wreck on route 94.
Ikey Lawson, locomotive engineer, was seriously injured.
Deputy Sheriff Louis Catlette said Juergens failed to negotiate a curve and that the car plunged off the road and turned over.
Surviving Juergens are his widow, Patricia McClung Juergens, three brothers and one sister.
