  The Beckley Register-Herald, Beckley, WV, Online Edition, 30 September 2008 CROZET, Va. - Mary Eleanor Sears, 86, of Crozet, Va., died at her residence on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, following a long illness. Born Oct. 24, 1921, in Hominy Falls, she was the daughter of the late John Edgar and Susie McClung McCutcheon. She retired from Con-Agra in 1989. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ohlan Nathan-iel Sears, and two sons, William Jennings Shawver and Larry Gene Sears. Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Shawver Hutsenpiller of Rainelle; a son, James Ohlan Sears of Crozet, Va.; a sister, Ida Lee Viers of Quinwood; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Anderson Funeral Home in Crozet, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
