James E. Broughman, 78, of Nitro died Nov. 12, 2003, in CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, after a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Britt Ivaldi; and stepfather, Ettore Ivaldi.
James was a 35-year resident of Nitro and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Nitro. He was a retired manager from Kroger Company with over 50 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Mary F. Lilly Broughman at home; daughter, Linda Templeton of Merrillville, Ind.; and granddaughter, Stacey Lynn Templeton of Indianapolis, Ind.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at First Presbyterian Church of Nitro, 21st Street, Nitro, with the Rev. Ed Thompson officiating. Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park Mausoleum, St. Albans.
Friends may call two hours prior to service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Education Fund at First Presbyterian Church of Nitro.
Cooke Funeral Home, Nitro, is in charge of arrangements.
