She was born September 21, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the late William and Dovie Lewis Stump. Nancy attended Tyler County High School where she was a member of the Alumni Association. She was a former member of the Middlebourne Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary, Middlebourne Emergency Squad and American Legion Post 67, Sistersville auxillary. Nancy loved football games, car racing and bingo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Brady Theodore Patterson, November 16, 2009. Two brothers; Bernard and Paul Stump. A sister Dorothy Neff. Nancy is survived by her daughter Cathy Post and her husband Roger, Middlebourne. A sister Myrtle Thompson, Weirton. Four grandchildren; Jason Reed (Stacy Kidder), Middlebourne, Amanda O, Sumter, SC and her husband Jin, Osan Air Force Base, South Korea, Rhonda Post, Greensboro, SC and Richie Post, Greensboro, SC. Four great grandchildren; Journey and Epic Wayts, Sardis, OH, Savanna Haught, Greensboro, SC and Jayna O, Sumter, SC. A great great granddaughter Aubree Wayts. Her beloved cat Sadie. Friends will be received at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 and Saturday 11 to 2 the time of the service with Conley Wyatt officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
