  The Charleston Gazette, Charleston, WV, Online Edition, 18 October 1999 McROSS - Ernest H. Mitchell, 94, of McRoss, Greenbrier County, died Oct. 15, 1999, in a Fairlea hospital after a long illness. He was a retired band mill foreman for Meadow River Lumber Co., and a member and trustee of McRoss Baptist Church. Surviving: daughter, Adabelle Hylton Fleshman of Dawson; granddaughter, Rhnea Hilton of Jumping Branch. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Houston Boothe and the Rev. Joey Fields officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
