  The Charleston Gazette, Charleston, WV, 31 December 1952 JONES, Mae Irene Simms ? 43, of Layland, died Monday in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. Survivors are her husband, John C.; three sons, George, Robert and Shirl, all at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Small of Oak Hill and Mrs. Vivian Haynes of Charleston. Service will be at 2 p. m. tomorrow in Kingdom Hall, Rainelle, with Rev. W. B. Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Wood Cemetery. The body will remain in Wallace and Wallace mortuary chapel until an hour before service.
