  The Beckley Post-Herald and Register, Beckley, WV, 24 April 1971 David B. Sanford Has Fatal Attack RAINELLE (RNS) ? David Bruce Sanford, 59, of Rainelle died Friday at work of an apparent heart attack. Born Jan. 28, 1912, a son of the late Henry and Victoria Sevy Sanford, he was a car repairman for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway in Rainelle. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Sims Sanford; a daughter, Mrs. Karen Henson of Covington, Va.; three sons, Marion of Falls Church, Va., and David and Ricky, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Cuma Sims of Rainelle; seven brothers, Claude, Cleve, Robert, Rhodie, Hershel and Russell, all of Rainelle, and Natt of Nallen, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Don Smathers Funeral Chapel in Rainelle with Rev. Harry Zickafoose and Rev. Bert Jones in charge. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today.
