  The Beckley Register-Herald, Beckley, WV, Online Edition, 11 December 2007 MEADOW BLUFF - Charles Richard "Dick" Selvey, 65, passed away early Sunday morning, Dec. 9, 2007, at his home following a short illness. Born May 6, 1942, at Hines, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charles Woodrow and Ethel Mae O'Dell Selvey. He was a member of Sam Black United Methodist Church, and a member of the Smoot Ruritan Club. Dick was a retired sheet metal worker for Columbus Heating and Ventilating of Columbus, Ohio. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Charlotte Boggs Selvey of Meadow Bluff, W.Va., and a sister, Mary Harper of Meadow Bluff, W.Va. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle with the Rev. Gary Eisenman, the Rev. Larry Walker, and the Rev. Calvin Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. The members of Smoot Ruritan Club will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice Care Inc., 540 N. Jefferson St., Box 7 Suite D, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
