Mina Tyree Rhodes, 69, of Charleston died May 31, 1998, in General Division, CAMC, after a long illness.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a former resident of Kenna.
Surviving: sons, James Dye of Ravenswood, Kenneth Rhodes of Kenna; stepson, David Rhodes of Fort Knox, Ky.; daughters, Barbara Williams of Ripley, Deborah Smith of Edwardsville, Ill., Rebecca Hunt of Arnoldsburg; stepdaughter, Carolyn Casto of Virginia Beach, Va.; brothers, Ray Tyree of Mims, Fla., Richard and George Tyree, both of Charleston; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald L. Stone and the Rev. Chuck Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Hughart-Tyree Cemetery, Sissonville. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, and one hour prior to service at the church.
