MARVIN ALDERSON MCCLUNG, 64, of Mount Lookout, Nicholas County, died Wednesday in Summersville Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Quinnimont. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Mount Lookout, the American Legion and VFW. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired employee of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington. He was a farmer. Surviving: wife, Anna Lee Kincaid McClung; daughters, Anndra Kay Dempsey of Mount Lookout; sons, Marvin A. II of Ansted, Mark Richard of Mount Vernon, Ohio; brothers, Mason of Oakland, Md., Paul of Andalusia, Ala., Walter and Theodore, both of Mount Lookout; sisters, Russie Skaggs of Ansted, Lottie Shelton of Martinsville, Va., Dollie McClung and Jessie Deitz, both of Mount Lookout; five grandchildren Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. T.W. Carte officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Howard White Funeral Home, Summersville.
