  The Charleston Daily Mail, 5 July 1972 DANESE - Ray William Rookstool, 61, of Danese, Fayette County, died Monday in Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley after a long illness. He was a retired miner. Surviving: wife, Emma; daughters, Miss Lela Rookstool of Landisburg and Miss Lisa Rookstool at home; son, Clyde of Meadow Bridge; stepdaughters, Mrs. Jackie Ewing of Layland and Mrs. Judy Neely of Burnsville; stepsons, Roger Avis of Meadow Bridge and Stuart Avis of Chicago, Ill.; sister, Mrs. Retha Vandall of Walkerton, Ind.; brothers, Raymond of Meadow Bridge, Ralph of Baberton, Ohio, Russell of Rainelle, Roy of Springdale, and Roscoe of Rupert. Service will be 2 p.m. today at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle with the Rev. Ernest Barley officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville.
