WILLIAM T. HIGHLANDER, 51, OF Alderson, Greenbrier County, died Thursday in Beckley VA Hospital after a long illness. He was a construction worker and was a Methodist. He was born in Alderson and was an Army veteran. Surviving: sister, Anna Mae Thompson of Jacksonville, Fla. Lobban Funeral Home, Alderson, is in charge of arrangements.

HIGHLANDER, WILLIAM T. - GRAVESIDE SERVICE WITH TRI-COUNTY VFW rites will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Phillips Cemetery, Muddy Creek Mountain, near Alderson, with the Rev. Brady O. Riffle officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. today at Lobban Funeral Home, Alderson. Mr. Highlander, 51, of Alderson, Greenbrier County, died Thursday in Beckley VA Hospital after a long illness.
