  Beckley Post-Herald, 27 October 1953 Marshall Arbaugh Is Death Victim LEWISBURG, Oct. 26 - Marshall H. Arbaugh, 76, of Lewisburg, died Saturday night at his home following a long illness. He was employed as a gardener. Surviving are his wife, Sadie Hunter Arbaugh; one daughter, Mrs. Ora Sarver of Beckley; one step-son, Otha Fisher of Ronceverte; four sisters, Mr. Laura Crone of Lewisburg; Mr. Willie Arbaugh of Ronceverte; Mrs. Sue Persinger of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Mollie Flack of Alderson; one brother, Charles Arbaugh of Staunton, Va.; two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral rites will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from the Shuck Memorial Baptist Church at Lewisburg with the Rev. David Harper officiating. Burial will be in the Crone Cemetery on Muddy Creek Mountain. The body is at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home and will be taken to the church at the funeral hour.
