Judith Lynn Terreo Weds Frank Von Burns In Vows
Former Beckleyans, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Terreo, Ashland, fy., have announced the wedding of their daughter, Miss Judith Lynn Terreo, and Frank Von Burns of Ashland.
He is the son of the late Mrs. Fred A. Burns, Route 2, Ashland, and the late Mr. Burns. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Maude Terreo of Beckley, and a niece of Mrs. Willard Brown, Mrs. John Santy
and Mrs. Joe Italiano, all of Beckley.
The wedding took place in Holy Family Church at Ashland, with the Rev. Theodora Keller celebrating
nuptial high mass. Wedding music was played by Sister Cecilia Claire, CDP, organist, and the mass was sung by the church High School Girls' Choir.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a bouffant gown of delustered satin and reembroidered lace, and a shoulder-length veil of silk illusion. She carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations, roses and lilies of the valley, and her jewelry, gifts of the bridegroom, were pearl earrings and a diamond and pearl pendant.
Miss Mary Applegate of Louisville was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Don Schmeisser, Coal Grove, Ohio, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Mary Jo Lynch and Miss Mary Jo Bond. Miss Grace Ann Terreo, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.
Fred A. Burns Jr., Lexington, Ky., served his brother as best man, and ushers were Louis J. Henry, Columbus, Ohio; John P. Friel, Fort Knox, Ky., David W. Klaiber and David E. Terreo, brother of the bride.
Mary Kay and Diane Terreo, sisters of the bride, were flower girls, and Craig Schmeisser, a nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. Accolytes were Richard Terreo, brother of the bride, and Dennis Arthur.
For the reception held at Ashland Elks Club, a four-tier cake made by Mrs. Brown of Beckley, was served.
The couple is making their home at 3641 Fithian St., Cincinnati, Ohio.
