BOBBY GENE SHAWVER, 56, OF Crichton, Greenbrier County, died June 27, 1988, in Beckley VA Hospital after a long illness. He was an Army veteran and a disabled carpenter. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Rainelle. Surviving: wife, Betty Tincher Shawver; sister, Catherine Smailes of Rainelle; brother, Gray of Mooresville, N.C. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Shawver Cemetery, Corliss, with Evangelist Randy Matheny officiating. There will be no visitation.
