  The Charleston Gazette, 7 June 1976 FAIRLEA - Victor Harold Burks, 74, of Fairlea, Greenbrier County, died Saturday in Greenbrier Valley Hospital, Fairlea, after a month-long illness. Born in Summers County, he had lived in Fairlea for seven years. He attended Miller Memorial Methodist Church and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Surviving: daughter, Mrs. Jo Lynn Ball of Lewisburg, Mrs. Bonnie Ellison of Princeton. Service will be 1 p.m. today in E.M. Meadows Funeral Home, Hinton, with the Rev. Harold Elmore officiating.
