  The Charleston Gazette, 9 January 1987 OSWALD "CHAMICE" SHAWVER, 62, OF Rainelle, Greenbrier County, died Jan. 7, 1987, in Beckley VA Medical Center, after a long illness. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of VFW, DAV and Big Sewell Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter. Surviving: daughters, Mary Shawver of San Pedro, Calif., Barbara Bergman of Appleton, Wis.; stepdaughter, Rose Marie Richter of Kimberly, Wis.; mother, Mrs. Audrey Haynes Shawver of Rainelle; sister, Mrs. Catherine Smailes of Rainelle; brothers, Bobby Gene of Crichton, Gray of Morrisville, N.C.; seven grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with Evangelist Randy Matheny officiating. Burial will be in Shawver Cemetery, Corliss.
