  The Charleston Daily Mail, 19 September 1977 Mrs. Margaret C. Shawver, 81, of 1426 Quarrier St., died Sunday in Charleston General Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Shawver, a Baptist, was a lifelong resident of Charleston. Her late husband owned and operated W.F. Shawver and Sons Roofing Co. in Charleston. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home with the Rev. Roland J. Weisser officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
