Earl R. Biggers, Engineer, Dies
Earl Ray Biggers, 60-year-old professional engineer, died unexpectedly yesterday evening at his 1647 Clay Ave., home. Mr. Biggers was with the West Virginia Engineering Co. here since 1940. A native of Fayette County, he was a graduate of Bliss Engineering School of Washington, D.C. He held membership in the Winona Baptist Church, the Longdale Lodge AF&AM No. 14 of Lookout, Scottish Rite Bodies, Beni Kedem Shrine Temple and Professional Engineers of West Virginia. Surviving are his wife, Madge Shawver Biggers; his mother, Mrs. Mollie Dillon Biggers of Winona; and one sister, Mrs. Garnet Biggers Huddle of Beckley. The body is at Cunningham Funeral Home.
