SHAWVER ? In Redwod City, December 15, 1965, Hobert E. Shawver, beloved husband of Audra Haynes Shawver; devoted father of Hobert D., Chandes 0., Bobby G. and Roland G. Shawver, all of Redwood City and Mrs. Catherine Smails of Rainelle, West Virginia, loving brother of Randell and Lloyd Shawver of Charleston, West Virginia; Raleigh Shawver of Midland, Michigan; Mrs. Daisy Harvey ard Mrs. Ola Grafton of Glasgow West Virginia, and Mrs. Mary Burks of Hinton, West Virginia; also survived by 15 grandchilden and 5 great-grandchildren. A member of Redwood Hills Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 17, 1965 at 1:30 a.m. at tne Colonial Mortuary of Crosby-N. Gray & Co., 2 Park Road, Burlingame. Interment Golden Gate National Cemetery. Contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1517 South B Street, San Mateo, preferred.
Hobert E. Shawver, 68, 811 California Way, Redwood City, died yesterday at Sequoia Hospital after an illness. He was a native of Corliss, W. Va. Survivors include his wife, Audra Haynes Shawver; four sons, Hobert D., Chandes O., Bobby G., and Roland G., all of Redwood City; a daughter, Catherine Smails, Rainelle, W. Va.; three brothers, Randell and Lloyd, both of Charleston, W. Va., and Raleigh, Midland, Mich.; three sister, Mrs. Daisy Harvey and Mrs. Ola Grafton, both of Glasgow, W. Va., and Mrs. Mary Burkes, Hinton, W. Va.; 15 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. with interment in Golden Gate National Cemetery.
