Robert F. "Bob" Rogers, 74, of Corliss passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, in Charleston following a long illness. Born Dec. 3, 1931, in Landisburg, he was a son of the late Arthur and Pina Rogers. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a superintendent for the West Virginia State Parks System. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty, and two brothers, William and John. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Burr Rogers; and four nephews, William, Jack, Richard and Tim Rogers. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with Pastor Doug Beam officiating. Burial will follow in the Shawver Cemetery, Corliss. Friends may call between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Friday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle. Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, is in charge of arrangements.
