GARDEN CITY, S.C. - Wilma C. Foster, 90, of Garden City died March 2, 1999, in National Health Center, Horry, after a long illness.
She was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught for 30 years in Raleigh and Fayette counties. She was a former member of the West Virginia Education Association and a member of the National Education Association.
Surviving: daughters, Carol Ann Almond and Mary Emma Foster, both of Pawleys Island, Janice Dickerson of Lavalette, W.Va.; sisters, Elizabeth Skaggs and Gladys Brown, both of Fayetteville, W.Va., Mary Louise Maroney of Charleston, W.Va., Martha Ann Thornton of Beckley, W.Va.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, W.Va. Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Prosperity, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
