  Son of Fred and Freda May Simms. The Charleston Gazette, 28 June 1995 ARBY CLINTON SIMMS, 67, OF RAINELLE died June 26, 1995, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, after a long illness. He was a former watchman for Meadow River Lumber Co., Rainelle. He was a retired coal miner from Westmoreland Coal Co. and a member of UMW Local 1335. Surviving: wife, Wanda Jean Lambert Simms; daughters, Maxine Lillian Simms McGuire of Rainelle, Connie Jean Simms Burr of Summersville, Christine Annette Simms at home; son, Charles Clinton of Covington, Va.; sisters, Virginia Rogers of Fayetteville, Erma Simms of Laurinburg, N.C.; brothers, Ernest of Hines, Lewis of Ortonville, Mich., Jesse Shelton of Flint, Mich., Eugene of Rainelle; seven grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Clintonville, with the Rev. Mike Tincher officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
