  The CHarleston Gazette, 15 May 1952 REED, Abraham Lincoln ? 61, a miner of Rupert, Greenbrier County, died at home Tuesday night after a heart attack. He was a member of Big Clear Creek Baptist church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Macil Reed; two daughters, Mrs. Lula Ellison, Rupert, and Mrs. Bertha Viers, Pasadena, Md.; a son, Willard, Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Payne, Lewisburg, and Mrs. Murley Blankenship, Rupert; two brothers, Albert H. Reed and Alex, both of Rupert; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the residence with Rev. Laird Pain officiating. Burial will be in End of the Trail Cemetery near Clintonville with Wallace and Wallace mortuary of East Rainelle in charge. The body is at the residence.
