  The Charleston Daily Mail, 8 July 1999 Mamie L. Bond, 82, of Nettie, Raleigh County, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at home after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Nettie and attended Mount Zion United Methodist Church. Surviving: daughters, Janet George of Nettie, Freda Stull of Leivasy; son, Rickey Lee at home; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Nettie, with the Rev. Garland Groves and the Rev. Harold Duskey officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Nettie.
