Greenbrier Man Dies; Rites Slated
QUINWOOD (RNS) — John William Bays, 80, died Thursday in a Richwood hospital.
He had lived at Quinwood for 11 years and was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 466 at Quinwood.
Bays was a retired employe of Nicholas, Fayette and Greenbrier Railway.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie, and three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Hastings of East Bank, Mrs. Madge Carroll of White Sulphur Springs and Mrs. Myrna Coleman of Marysville, Ohio.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home Chapel at East Rainelle with Rev. Pearlie Orndorff and Rev. Wilbert O'Dell in charge. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville.
The body will remain at the funeral home.
