Joan "Joanie" Kay Martin, age 55, passed away Dec. 9, 1999. Survived by her husband, James Martin and her children, Lynn (Mark) Stevens, Rye, Colo., Brian Slanovich, Denver, Colo., Keith Ebrecht, Colorado; and Rocky, the family pet. Also survived by her mother, Lena Estess, Pueblo; twin sister, Janet (Jack) Clementi, Pueblo; sisters, Joyce (Bobby) Greer, Memphis, Tenn., and Judy (Dick) Smith, Amarillo, Texas; brothers, Morris (Pinky) Estess, San Antonio, Texas, and Raymond Estess, Idaho; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Christy Clementi, great-niece, Savanna Flores, great-nephew, Justin Doren, and members of the Martin family. She is also survived by many special friends. Preceded in death by her father, Morris Lee Estess; sister, Kathleen Estess; and niece, Carrie Clementi. Mrs. Martin was employed with Public Service for 35 years. Joan enjoyed golf, the Broncos, collecting angels, trips to Cripple Creek and times of sharing with friends and family around the kitchen table. Funeral Mass, Monday, 10 a.m., St. Joseph Church in Blende. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Reception at St. Joseph Hall following interment.
