Miss King Married to B. E. Billings
Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Ernestine King, of Charleston, daughter of Mrs. Etta M. Munn of Hollywood, Cal., and the late Mr. Terrance King of this city, to Mr. Banner Elmore Billings, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Billings, of Hays, NC.
The ceremony was performed at the Greene Memorial Methodist church in Roanoke, Va., Friday, Sept. 1. The bride wore a dark blue suit of pin-stripe blue crepe, with a white organdie blouse, blue and white accessories and a shoulder corsage of American Beauty roses and gardenias.
Mrs. Billings is secretary to Dean P. E. Roller, of Morris Harvey college, and is widely known in Charleston. She attended the local high school, the Charleston School of Commerce and Morris Harvey college.
Mr. Billings is employed in the office of Pritchard Motor company. He is a graduate of the National Business college of Roanoke.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Richmond and at Virginia Beach and have returned to Charleston, where they are living at 418 Wyoming street.
