Lucile M. Dickson, died at CareChoice Nursing and Rehab in Boerne, TX on December 21, 2012 of complications following a stroke. She was 94 years old. Lucile was born in Zenith, West Virginia, the daughter of H.O. McClung and Sadie Miller McClung. She married Ernest Lionel Dickson in 1946 and is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Ware of Bogart, GA; children, Becky Dickson Eterno of Boerne, TX and Wendell E. Dickson of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Teresa Eterno Lehtinen and John L. Eterno; great granddaughter, Mia Grace Lehtinen all of Arvada, CO. Lucile was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years in West Virginia and Bellefontaine, Ohio and alumna of Concord College (Now Concord University), Athens, WV. A Graveside Service is planned for Friday, December 28, at 11 a.m. in Crozier Cemetery, Zenith, WV. Vaughan's Funeral Home is handling arrangements in Texas and Broyles-McGuire Funeral Home of Union is handling arrangements in West Virginia. Contributions in Lucile Dickson's memory may be made to Concord University. (Published in The Leaf Chronicle, Clarksville, TN, on December 26, 2012)
