RUPERT - Juanita Trout McClung, 91, formerly of Leivasy, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Greenbrier Manor in Fairlea following a long illness.
Born Dec. 18, 1912, at Carl, she was the daughter of the late William Abraham and Phoebe Sawyers Trout.
Mrs. McClung was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arden McClung, and a son, Garold McClung, both of whom died in 1979; and 16 sisters and brothers, in addition to her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Elma Johnson of Denver, Colo., and Faustine Ervin of Woodbine, Md.; two sons, Harold McClung of Crawley and William Clell McClung of Nettie; 10 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, five stepgreat-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with the Revs. Ron McClung and Houston Boothe officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, Carl.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
