  The Charleston Gazette, Online Edition, 24 October 2000 MAPLEWOOD - Verna Lue Harrah Price, 98, of Maplewood died Oct. 23, 2000, in a Beckley hospital after a short illness. She was a former schoolteacher and grocery store owner, a homemaker and a member of Layland Baptist Church, Meadow Bridge Senior Citizens and Eastern Star Chapter 135, Danese. Surviving: daughter, Clella Smith of Danese; granddaughter, Sue Pugh of Maplewood; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Adam Hanshew officiating. Burial will be in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where there will be an Easter Star service at 7.
