Funeral services for Joseph Lincoln Sims, 49, Walbridge, Ohio, formerly of Springdale, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Don Smathers Funeral Chapel in Rainelle. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville.
He died Friday at his home of an apparent heart attack.
He was a member of the Baptist church, a railroad engineer and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Nola Campbell Sims, Walbridge; his mother, Mrs. Nannie Lowery Sims, Huntington; a sister, Mrs. Marvin Martin, Carlton Heights, and two brothers, Basil of Winston Salem, N.C., and Arnold, Springdale.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today. (RNS)
