R.Hill McClung Claimed By Death
SUMMERSVILLE, May 21 - R. Hill McClung, 77, of Persinger, died Sunday morning in a Sutton hospital after an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Enon Baptist Church with Rev. J. E. Brown and Rev. Homer Piercy officiating. Burial will be in the McClung family cemetery near the church.
The body will remain at the D. R. Simmons Mortuary and will be taken to the church one hour prior to the funeral.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Della Pletcher McClung, two daughters, Mrs. Laura Sparks, of Persinger and Mrs. Mae Cogar, of Richmond and two sons, Waitman, of Hookersville and Cecil, of Persinger.
