Rites Today For Mrs. Anna B. McClung
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Blanche McClung, who died Saturday at her daughter's home home here, will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Carpenter Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. J. Melvin Ray of the First Baptist Church officiating.
The body will be sent to Hinton, W. Va., after the services for burial there.
Mrs. McClung, 67, was born in Greenbriar County, W. Va., on July 12, 1886, and had lived in Carlsbad six years. She was active in work of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include six sons, Curtis of Pikesville, Ky., Dallas of San Antonio, Tex., Joe of Lewisburg, W. Va., Roland of Carlsbad, James of Charleston, W.Va., and Conwell of Leaksville, N. C.; seven daughters, Hulda Simms of Winston-Salem, N. C., Omega Chambers and Helen Koitky of Baltimore, Md., Ruth Haveman of Los Angeles, Janet Gladwell of Nitro, W. Va, Harriet Card of Carlsbad and Polly Murdoch of Mullan, Ida.; two brothers, Roy Smith of Warren, O., and Joe Smith of Little Rock, Ark.; four sisters, Maude Cumby of East Rainele, W. Va., Bessie Taylor of Renick, W.Va., Cora Sheets of Cass, W.Va., and Ethel Kerns of Akron, O., 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
